MISCELLANEOUS BACKPLANE INFORMATION
PCI-TO-PCI BRIDGE
The PCI-to-PCI bridge supports the PCI 2.1 specification. This bridge allows PCI Local Buses to extend the electrical loading limits of a single PCI Bus and to operate independently, allowing for communication within the same bus even if the other PCI Buses are busy. The BP7/6 backplane has bus mastering capabilities on all 6 PCI Local Bus Slots.
