POWER INDICATORS
LEDs provide a convenient visual check for +5V, -5V, +12V and +3.3V power connection and status.
CAUTION: When the power indicators are on do not install or remove the SBC or any option card from the BP7/6 backplane. |
POWER CONNECTORS
The BP3/16 backplane is available with a vertical AT or ATX power connector. The power connection for +3.3V is available through a 12-pin .156 MTA connector or the optional ATX connector.
Additional power capacity is available through two 6-pin .156 MTA connectors. |

MISCELLANEOUS BACKPLANE INFORMATION
PCI-TO-PCI BRIDGE
The PCI-to-PCI bridge supports the PCI 2.1 specification. This bridge allows PCI Local Buses to extend the electrical loading limits of a single PCI Bus and to operate independently, allowing for communication within the same bus even if the other PCI Buses are busy. The BP3/16 backplane has bus mastering capabilities on all 16 PCI Local Bus Slots.
