MISCELLANEOUS BACKPLANE INFORMATION
PCI-TO-PCI BRIDGE The PCI-to-PCI bridge supports the PCI 2.1 specification. This bridge allows PCI Local Buses to extend the electrical loading limits of a single PCI Bus and to operate independently, allowing for communication within the same bus even if the other PCI Buses are busy. The BP3/16-64 backplane has bus mastering capabilities on all 16 PCI Local Bus slots.
PCI LOCAL BUS SLOTS Provides 16 PCI Local Bus slots. All PCI Slots are 33 MHz, and support 64 bit and 32 bit Standard PCI Local Bus option cards. |
